Day 18: Indulge in a new delight.
This morning was one of those lazy, do-nothing-important mornings. We sat outside and indulged in the fine are of letter writing. (What my kids don’t know yet is that I write them letters on their birthdays in a composition notebook they won’t get until they move out of the house. Since LuLu and Bunny had their birthdays when Bee was here, they’re getting an extra surprise when they read theirs.)
This afternoon, we took a break from running around. It was nice.
Miss Bee has never had a facial. I’ve only had a few but enough to know what a treat they are. One of the perks of a small business in a medical complex is sharing and bartering with the other businesses.
He-Man’s practice happens to be next door to a spa.
Awesome, I know!
Today, Bee and I had a wonderful treat compliments of Utah Spinal Care and Elona Spa: FACIALS!!!
She’s seriously the best! And while I realize I’ve got to drink more water and eat more greens to keep my skin healthy, I can still hope this is the magic disappear-all-wrinkles stuff dreams of eternal youth are made of.
Still, it was delightful!
Look that gorgeous glow!
And since our time together is coming to a close, this evening Calvin and I took Miss Bee out for ice cream. He was the perfect gentleman.
This is where I get a lump in my throat and it starts to get hard…we have to say goodbye soon. But I’m not quite ready to talk about that yet.
