Days 21-24 (A Little Bit Amended)

It took me days to admit this but after caring for a house full of sickos for a week I could no longer deny it….I’m one of the sickos.  Needless to say, we’ve muted our grand plans and adjusted our activities in order to allow ourselves a lot of rest…

Day 21:  Jammie Day and MJ…

We all stayed in our pajamas until the afternoon.  Miss Bee helped me make bread.  (It turned out delicious) and, as a bonus, those who didn’t feel completely terrible passed the time by playing ‘The Micheal Jackson Experience’.  Miss Bee schooled everyone, setting several records in the game.  Mr. & Mrs. Bee, I think you may have a back-up dancer in the making!

Day 22:  A birthday party, backyard fire pit and SMORES!!

We celebrated Bunny’s birthday with her friends and as night fell, the kids were anxious to introduce Miss Bee to a truly All-American treat…SMORES!  She gave them a hearty two-thumbs up!

Day 23:  The must-do trip to Temple Squate…

When in Rome, do as the Romans do, right?  Well, when you’re in Utah, you’ve gotta do as the Mormons do, right?  We took Miss Bee on a trip to Temple Square (ideal for the Pioneer Day weekend) and then to a tiny, obscure little park called Gilgal Garden…which is a fun, little known place filled with really cool LDS sculpture art.  Unfortunately, we didn’t get any pics from there.

Oh.  And we watched Star Wars because Miss Bee has never seen it.  IMG_7002

Day 24:  Our last China Sunday with Miss Bee.

We attempted more French cuisine.  Quiche with mushrooms and veggies from our garden..

Then, of course, ‘Empire Strikes Back’..

‘No.  I am your father.’

About T.D.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my corner of the blogosphere. I hope you like it here. This blog is where I ramble about the hats I wear (wife, mother, author, educator, etc) and everything in between. A wise man once said 'Happiness is a habit; cultivate it'. Here on this blog, I intend to do just that.
