Friday Favorites: 5/3/13

Have you ever found yourself completely delighted in something small and probably rather insignificant?

I discovered these straws at one of my very favorite stores.  I love them!  I’ve always felt bad about buying plastic disposable straws because they just end up unrecycled and in my garbage can.  These little beauties are easy to wash and will last a long while.

polka dot strawsWe have a thing for polka dots.  Ruby calls them ‘Polk Otts’ so anything pink and polka-dotted is a ‘win’ in our house.

Which is why these straws are this week’s Favorite and I have a package to share with a reader.

Drop me a message or a comment and I’ll enter you into my end of the month drawing.

Peace Out, Sweet Peeps!

(Since I began my Friday Favorites two weeks ago and only have a couple of gizmos, I’ll be combining April and May’s Favorites together.  At the end of this month, someone gets them all. )

About T.D.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my corner of the blogosphere. I hope you like it here. This blog is where I ramble about the hats I wear (wife, mother, author, educator, etc) and everything in between. A wise man once said 'Happiness is a habit; cultivate it'. Here on this blog, I intend to do just that.

Ooh, pick me, pick me! I love gizmos!

  2. I loooove reusable straws, and my somewhat unexplained fear of ice makes straws a necessity during the summer when ice water is a must 🙂

These are awesome and so dang cute looking. Jessica can not drink from a cup without a straw. I throw straws away all the time. 🙂
